LAFAYETTE — The township Land Use Board has approved plans for a 9.9-megawatt, 36-acre solar energy facility on property situated along Beaver Run and Fox Hill roads.
The project is to be completed by September on property owned by Shotmeyer Brothers Fuel Corp., based in Hawthorne, which first proposed the project in late 2010.
